Luidia Product Limited Warranty

Certain eBeam hardware is eligible for a three year warranty including:

  1. eBeam Edge
  2. eBeam Projection
  3. eBeam Whiteboard
  4. eBeam Complete
  5. eBeam Engage

Luidia Product Limited Warranty – Luidia offers a three (3) year hardware limited warranty to its end-user customers for the eBeam Edge, eBeam Projection, eBeam Whiteboard, eBeam Complete and eBeam Engage products. The terms of the warranty are as follows:

Luidia warrants that for thirty (30) days from delivery to a Product end user, the Software in the Products will perform in material accordance with the specifications therefor. Luidia further warrants that for thirty-six (36) months from delivery to a Product end user, the hardware portion of the Products, if used as authorized in accordance with Luidia specifications, will not have significant defects in materials or workmanship that make the Products unusable. Luidia makes no warranty or representation that the Products will meet any end user’s specific requirements, that the operation of the Products will be secure, uninterrupted or error free, or that all defects in the Products will be corrected. Luidia makes no warranty, implied or otherwise, regarding the performance or reliability of any third party products (hardware or software). Installation of any third party products other than as authorized by Luidia will void all warranties given by Luidia. In addition, use, modification and/or repair of the Products other than as authorized by Luidia voids all warranties. This warranty expressly does not cover any physical damage to the Products from: (a) misuse, including but not limited to: dropping, exposing to water or extreme environment conditions, or subjecting unit to physical or electrical stress; (b) modification of the Products not authorized by Luidia; or (c) combination of the Products with any components or materials not provided by Luidia.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTIES SET FORTH ABOVE, NEITHER LUIDIA NOR ITS SUPPLIERS MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES TO ANY PERSON OR ENTITY WITH RESPECT TO ANY OF THE PRODUCTS, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR IN ANY OTHER PROVISION OF THIS NOTICE OR ANY OTHER COMMUNICATION, AND LUIDIA AND ITS SUPPLIERS SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF SECURITY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND/OR NONINFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS. THERE IS NO WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATION THAT THE OPERATION OF THE PRODUCTS WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, FAULT-TOLERANT, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SOLE LIABILITY OF LUIDIA, AND THE SOLE REMEDY, RELATING TO ANY AND ALL APPLICABLE WARRANTIES SHALL BE, AT LUIDIA’S OPTION, TO REPAIR THE PRODUCT, REPLACE THE PRODUCT, OR PROVIDE A REFUND FOR THE PRICE PAID TO LUIDIA FOR THE PRODUCT.

Luidia will extend the term of the limited hardware warranty described above for an additional four (4) years (i.e., a total of seven (7) years), provided only for the eBeam Edge, eBeam Projection, eBeam Whiteboard and eBeam Complete products. Luidia will extend the terms of the limited hardware warranty provided that the product is eligible, and that the purchaser completes both registration through Luidia's online registration page and completes online training through Luidia's Certification site or the online survey, as required by the registration system.

The eBeam Focus, eBeam Inscribe and eBeam Livewire carry a one-year warranty.
 
The above warranty applies to products purchased after January 1, 2010. For products purchased before January 1, 2010, Luidia warrants that for twenty-four (24) months from delivery to a Product end user, the hardware portion of the Products, if used as authorized in accordance with Luidia specifications, will not have significant defects in materials or workmanship that make the Products unusable. All other Luidia warranties and disclaimers remain as previously indicated.
