San Carlos, CA, February 5, 2008, – Luidia Inc., a leading provider of innovative interactive whiteboard systems, and Maverick, the Audio Visual Division of Computer2000, part of the TechData group, have signed a distribution agreement for the UK marketplace.
As part of the agreement, Luidia will give Maverick access to distribute the full range of eBeam Interactive Products across multiple channels in the UK. “The breadth of the Computer2000’s ‘broadliner’ background coupled with the specialist knowledge of the Maverick AV division will expand eBeam’s focus and push us in directions never seen before in the UK,” remarked Andi Brabin, UK Channel Manager at Luidia. Darren Sainsbury, Business Unit Manager at Maverick, added, “The eBeam range provides resellers with a way to get into the IWB market place without having to invest heavily in a total whiteboard solution. The price point we are offering is fantastic, and it will really open up the corporate market, making it so people can effortlessly move the portable system from one room to another.”
The product is expected to go live at Maverick on the 1st of March, 2008.
